September 2009 GBC

After a 4 month summer break, I will be starting up our monthly Guys Book Club Meetings! Come prepared to discuss your summer reads. I just finished Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. It was an interesting read because I could compare 1950's socialism scares to modern day. Hope to see you then! - Thursday Septebmer 17th 8:00 at Poor Herbies

February GBC

If you are wondering, I went into hibernation this winter. The weather this week caused me to wake up and remember 2 things. 1) Valentines day is coming up! I guess sending my wife an email and asking her what she wants to do for valentines day will be considered 'unromantic'. geesh. 2) I haven't had a Guys Book Club meeting since October (this being the greater concern). Having said that, I am announcing February 26th at 8:00 at Poor Herbie's. I will recommend this months book and thinking about the difference between men and women as Valentines day approaches; I suggest: Equal Rights by Terry Pratchett. Hope to see you all there!
